Tigers are in danger

Tigers run very fast. They are good at hunting other animals. They usually live alone. But hunters are killing them to make money. Trees and forests are being cut down to make farmland. And there is also a lot of pollution. Tigers are losing their living areas. They even have no enough food. As a result, their number is getting smaller and smaller. They are in great danger.

I think we should do something to help them. We can write to newspapers and magazines about these problems to make more people know the importance of protecting tigers. We can also raise money to help our government build more reserves.

About fifty per cent of the students in our school are worried about their homework. They have so much homework to do every day. And they feel stressed too much. About thirty per cent of the students think their parents are too strict with them (in their studies). It's difficult for them to get along/on well with their parents. The other twenty per cent of them say they are weak in health. They complain that they almost have no time for their hobbies or after-school activities.

A Thanks-giving Campaign Day

Today, we had a thanks-giving campaign day in our school with a lot of activities. In the morning, I made some thank-you cards and gave them to my teachers. From 3' 00 to 4' 00 p. m, I joined in a speech competition. In it, I read a thank-you letter to Mum and Dad. After I came back home in the evening, I helped my parents do some housework.

I had such a meaningful day today. Now, I realize that my parents and teachers and many others are doing a lot for me. I must thank them by studying harder and becoming a useful person in the future.

It was fine today. I went for an outing with my classmates. We met at our school gate. We got on the bus at seven thirty in the morning and arrived at the West Lake Park at eight thirty. As time goes by, man is making the earth sick. People cut down too many trees and leave rubbish everywhere. Factories let out their waste without doing anything to it.
